Non-Commercial Projects

These terms are relevant exclusively to NON-COMMERCIAL projects and are subject to revising, editing, and additions without notice. All prices and policies are based in part from the 14th edition of the “Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines” book.

  1. Displayed base prices for any of the artist’s services are subject to change according to the complexity, difficulty, size and medium of each individual piece.
  2.  Clear and concise visual references and/or description of a commission idea must be provided by the Client. After which a preliminary quote will be provided by the Artist.
  3.  Payments $255 and under must be paid up front in full. Payment plans are available for commissions above $255.
  4. If the artwork is finished before final payment(s) are made, the Client will not receive the un-watermarked digital and printed image of the completed commission until final payment(s) has been received by the artist.
  5. Clients will have the opportunity to direct alterations of their commission in the thumbnail sketch stage. The artist will present three to five loose thumbnail sketches from which a client may choose before the artist refines the drawing. No more than five thumbnail revisions (or equal in terms of small alterations) will be made unless the Client wishes to pay extra for new thumbnails.
  6. Critique and redline corrections for commissions are welcome to ensure the best result.
  7. The Artist reserves the right to reject critique and redline pertaining to artistic skill or style preference (i.e. anatomy, coloring style, etc.) if said critique reduces the artistic quality of the piece.
  8. If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during the sketch stage they will be refunded 50% of what they have paid.
  9. If the Client wishes to cancel their commission during or after the coloring stage they will not be issued a refund.
  10.  The Artist will not discuss a commission with a client via public forum, instant messenger, or private note. Communications about commissions between Client and Artist will be made only through [email protected] to ensure all information and communications are consolidated in one location.
  11. The Artist reserves the right to issue a refund and cancel a commission due to poor communication, rude or inappropriate behavior, inability to communicate in effective English.
  12.  The Artist ensures the Client will receive email updates on commission(s) when necessary. Clients are encouraged to check in when they feel it’s necessary for updates, assurances or reminders. Public updates will also be made available via facebook, twitter.com, artist blog, and instagram.

 

 

Purchases

By completing your purchase through biancakhidime.com, you agree to pay in full through the payment method you have selected during checkout. If a payment is returned due to insufficient funds, you agree to pay a $35 return-payment fee regardless of whether or not you choose to re-submit payment for your order. As orders are not shipped unless all payment(s) have been received in full, in order for you to receive your order after a payment is returned due to insufficient funds, you agree to pay the $35 return-payment fee in addition to your original order total.

 

Shipping

I generally ship orders within 5 business days via USPS Priority Mail or via UPS to locations in the U.S. for which there is a shipping and handling charge. International orders are shipped USPS Global Priority Mail to countries that accept Global Priority Mail. Shipping and handling charges are based on current rates and fees. All orders will not ship until your payment has cleared. If your payment is for some reason put on hold due to banking institution restrictions (e.g. transactions over a certain amount are sometimes put on a 10 day hold), biancakhidime.com will notify you of your revised shipping date.

 

Returns & Refunds

Returns are  accepted within 14 days of receiving your purchase if the item(s) you received does not match the product on your order receipt or is in some way damaged in transit. You are responsible for shipping costs for returns, however your replacement item will be shipped at no charge to you. Bianca cannot offer replacements unless the original item is returned. She also cannot offer replacements for Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Canvas Prints or Originals, as they are one-of-a-kind.

She does not offer refunds at this time, but is willing to discuss a client’s situation on a case by case basis.
